Hitman and I drove to Copenhagen at 7.30 am to lie in a queue. Phone was released at midnight, so we had to wait over 16 hours in the queue. There were 7 guys before us in the queue, so we knew we would get it.
It was pretty fun to stay in the queue. Our pictures were in the two leading danish newspapers websites BT, EkstraBladet and two largest television from Denmark DR1 and TV2 interviewed Hitman and me. We were sent live from TV2 news interviewed by a hot journalist. :) When we got the phone, TV2 News were waiting for us to interview us on our excitement. It was DAMN funny! The journalist asked me a fun question … "Did you ever see an Android phone line up so many people in queue (over 250) and draw the attention from all media in Denmark?" … :)
Well we were kinda chocked, because when we started in the queue, we didn't know the price of the phone. At noon we got the price …. €1.100 for the phone inclusive subscription for 6 months. Wow ... wtf ... that was almost €260 more than IPhone 3GS. :(
Ok so now we've been playing with the phone for several hours and here's what we learned.
Do the IPhone 4 have an antenna problem …. yes … can we make it loose a call or weaken a call … no. Call quality is perfect. To make the IPhone drop some bars in reception, we have to hold it with left hand in an not normal position for us.
Despite the antanne "problems" which haven't been a problem for us yet, the phone is just awesome. The screen is just gorgeous … you really have to see it … wow … Steve Jobs didn't lie. Internet is faster, phone is faster, gyroscope in game like NOVA is fun, camera takes great pictures. So all in all Hitman and me is VERY satisfied. We though have some problems using Facetime.
Conclusion … this is by far the best smartphone Apple has made. Every area (except antenna) is just cool.
Four an a half star out of five from Hitman and me. If antenna didn't loose bars, we would give it five. ;)
